Google+ hangouts gets new makeover with a new sidebar |
But hangouts have a 10 user maximum limit and this doesn't work well for some official meetings. So, Google+ team took note of it and made some changes.
According to Ronald Ho, a Google apps product manager, starting this week if you are a Google apps customer for business, government or schools and enabled Google+ in your account, the most participants limit will be raised from 10 to 15 most concurrent participants.
Another great news is Google+ for education was only available to selected and verified higher educational institutions. Starting this week any school which uses Google apps for education will be able to enable Google+ and enjoy all the benefits of the network. Yay!
One more thing we want to remind our viewers i.e for larger audiences with more than 15 users, you can always use hangouts on air (HOA) which allows to broadcast to an unlimited number of users via YouTube live stream and at the same time they could still interact via comments and hashtags.
